For Our Community & Our Visitors
On 1st August 2024 we opened for business as Longden Village Stores set in the village of Longden near Shrewsbury. We serve customers in our own village and the surrounding area, along with tourists and those passing by. Providing a local shop for residents and visitors with a reliable, locally-driven source for all their daily essentials. Our aim is to ensure that quality Shropshire products and convenience remain at the heart of village life.
Local Support
At the beginning of November 2024, the store unveiled a brand-new layout, designed to create a more enjoyable shopping experience for the community. Over thirty people now regularly contribute to the shop as volunteers, and our customers have given huge encouragement. All helping to create a business which builds on the legacy established by the previous owners, and allowing us to offer even more of what our customers tell us they want.
